Scissors

Purchase the best scissors you can afford… and never, NEVER use them to cut anything other than fabric. (I keep another pair of scissors on hand to cut paper and other materials). A good pair of scissors can be expensive, but believe me you won’t regret it. You will find you will prefer a smallish pair (mine are 5 inches long and I love them!). In time you might want to consider a second and even smaller pair for snipping threads or to use in your appliqué projects.
