Similar to the 5-patch block, this one is based on a 7 x 7 grid. As in the previous case, the design is mirrored along a horizontal, vertical and diagonal axis. Designs based on this grid tend to be complex and full of small pieces. For this reason, they are not as common. To the right you will see a more simple block, easier to sew than most 7-patch blocks because the templates are drafted by joining same-colored sections. |  |
