A Year of Coasters

One of the results of our quiltmaking efforts - apart from beautiful quilts - is the piles of scraps of fabrics that ensue. That simply provides an opportunity to be creative and find uses for these beautiful little bits.

One of the ways I like to use scraps is by making coasters. They are quick to make and provide an opportunity to try out a design or learn a new technique. So that is what we would like to invite you to do with us this year. Join us for a different coaster (or two, or three, or four!) pattern each month, going from extremely quick and simple to a couple of more challenging techniques. Some will be free, some will be for members only - all will be fun. Hopefully there will be something new to learn here!

New patterns/instructions will be posted around the middle of each month. So don't forget to stop by and join in the fun!
