Leaves

I guess this isn't really a block, but a panel. This is the part of the quilt that will go over my pillow. We were going to use the same sky fabric we used for the sun, fairy and clouds, but we ran out and couldn't find any more. So instead we came up with this solution. Nanny says that's half of the fun in quilting. Sometimes you have an idea but it doesn't work out quite right, so you find something else to do to fix it. Now that I see my finished block, I like it better than the original plan.

I didn't draw any designs here, because I discovered EQ6 has libraries with lots of leaves. So I chose some I really liked. Below is my EQ6 drawing:

My little brother, Julian, helps me hold up my finished panel.
