Don’t throw out leftover strips of quilted fabric! Use them instead to make some quick tissue holders. Depending on the size of the quilted scrap, choose one of the options below!

Tissue Holder 1
Cut 1 piece of your quilted fabric 6 x 8”.
Bind both short edges.

Fold bound edges over to meet in center. Stitch raw edges closed using overcast stitch.
Turn the tissue holder inside out.

Tissue Holder 2
Cut 1 piece of your quilted fabric 6 x 3 ¼”.
Cut 2 pieces of contrasting fabric 6 x 3 ½”. Fold in half lengthwise and press.
Place folded pieces on top of quilted piece, with folds meeting in center, slightly overlapped.
Stitch raw edges closed using overcast stitch.
Turn the tissue holder inside out.

Alternatively, you can also bind the raw edges for an elegant touch.
