Quilted Day Planner

If you're like me, you have a favorite day planner, notebook, ring binder... that much used and well loved book you carry around with you everywhere. You are used to it, you love it, and eventually it starts to fall apart.

I needed to replace mine, but couldn't find the right size binder. So instead I repaired it. I mean, I love this ring binder! What I couldn't fix, though, was the closure. That had fallen off. So I decided to recover it, and customize it so that it is exactly as I like it!

This is a great back-to-school or Christmas gift for pretty much anyone, young or old. Depending on your fabric choices, you can go youthful, very femenine, or completely manly. Piece or appliqué the outside with a favorite design, or prepare a fabric collage as I did in my example.

The project file includes instructions on how to measure, customize, and sew your very own quilted day planner or journal cover, taking into account your own particular needs.
