Planning a romantic Valentine's Day evening? Then make sure you light plenty of candles, and place them on this lovely mat to showcase them! Heart shapes are really easy to appliqué, so if you are a beginner, this is a great project to start with!

A note of warning: don't forget to place your candle on a heat resistant holder - glass is great because you can see through. Remember not to leave burning candles unattended!
