Depending on the use that will be given to a piece, I often like to embellish my quilts. That is, as long as they are wallhangings and will not be subjected to frequent washing.

In addition to embroidery, I often like to use beads, ordinary and specialty buttons, ribbon, yo-yos and 3D flowers... you name it. Take a look!

I should add that any embellishing of this type (other than embroidery) I add after the project has been quilted.
